Crafted from reclaimed Messmate , this premium solid hardwood brisket board is made using recycled structural bearers and joists sourced from Melbourne homes. Once forming part of the framework beneath a house, this old-growth timber has been carefully salvaged and repurposed — transformed into a functional centerpiece designed to take pride of place in your kitchen, outdoor entertaining space, or BBQ area.

Rich in character, each board showcases the unique grain patterns, colour variation, and natural features that only come from aged Australian hardwood. The history within the timber brings warmth and authenticity to every piece, ensuring no two boards are ever the same.

Each brisket board is professionally polished using Step 1 & 2 from @kustomcreations_byscott to achieve a smooth, refined finish. It is then sealed with our in-house Butter My Boards beeswax oil, enhancing the natural tones of the timber while providing a durable, food-safe protective layer suitable for everyday use.

At 40mm thick, this board offers exceptional strength and stability — ideal for carving brisket, serving meats, or presenting food when entertaining. Built to handle serious use while maintaining a timeless, handcrafted aesthetic.
