The Ashford X coffee Table

The Ashford X takes everything from the Ashford line and pushes it a step further.

Built from recycled Mountain Ash, this piece carries even more character through the top — a mix of tones, grain variation, and natural features that come from timber that’s lived a previous life. Each board tells its own story, with knots, lines, and subtle checking all stabilised and left visible, not hidden.

At 1200 x 600 x 40mm, it’s still a solid, everyday coffee table — but this one leans a bit more into being a feature piece.

What sets it apart is the cross (X) steel base. Heavier in presence and more sculptural than the standard legs, it gives the table a stronger stance and a more architectural feel, while still keeping that balance between raw timber and clean steel.

Finished in Odie’s Oil, the timber is brought to life with a deep, natural tone and a smooth, low-sheen feel. It’s a finish that lets the grain stand out and will continue to age beautifully over time.

Paired with a bold X steel base to give it that extra presence.
