Heritage Redgum Fence Post Candle Holder
Steeped in Australian history, this unique candle holder has been handcrafted from a 120-year-old reclaimed Redgum fence post sourced from a historic property just outside Bairnsdale, Victoria. After standing proudly in the ground for well over a century, this remarkable piece of timber has been given a new purpose while preserving the character and story it has collected over generations.
The original weathered texture, natural checking, and historic bolt holes have all been retained, creating a truly authentic rustic piece. Even the beautiful lichen remains preserved, celebrating the timber's long life outdoors and adding to its one-of-a-kind charm. The original bolt holes have been carefully sealed with a hard wax spray to protect the timber while maintaining its rugged appearance.
Designed to hold four tealight candles, this candle holder creates a warm, inviting glow that perfectly complements its rich history and natural beauty. Whether displayed on a dining table, mantelpiece, or outdoor entertaining area, it becomes an instant conversation piece that connects the past with the present.
Every reclaimed post tells its own story, meaning no two candle holders will ever be exactly alike.
